West Springfield Police District – Police responded to the report of a robbery at the M&T Bank at 7857 Heritage Drive on Tuesday, October 22 at around 9:30 a.m.

The preliminary investigation determined that a man entered the bank and presented a demand note to a 21-year-old, female teller that implied he had a weapon. He fled the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. There were no injuries.

The suspect was described as black, in his 20s to 30s, approximately 6 feet tall with an athletic build. He was wearing a gray sport coat, a black Fedora (hat), sunglasses and white sneakers.
The police helicopter and a K9 team responded to the scene.
