Suspects Sought in Centreville area Destruction Cases
Sully Police District – Police are searching for individuals who destroyed vehicle windows in more than 60 cars over the past two nights
Officers believe that a BB gun was used to destroy car windows in the Centreville area during the early morning hours of Tuesday, October 29. Police responded to calls in Little Run, Rocky Run, Singleton’s Grove, Old Centreville Crossing and the Green Trails communities. Fair Oaks officers also handled numerous cases in the Penderbrook community. Incident reports indicated that the crimes began occurring at around 1 a.m.
Police ask that anyone who may have witnessed any unusual or suspicious persons, vehicles or noises in these areas to contact them. Crime Prevention Officers continue to work closely with Neighborhood Watch organizations in their efforts to prevent and deter destruction cases such as these.
