Two New Deputy Chiefs Announced

Fairfax County Police Chief Edwin C. Roessler, Jr. announced the selection of two new Deputy Chiefs on Wednesday, November 13.

Lieutenant Colonel Erin Schaible will take command of the Patrol Bureau where she will be responsible for the largest patrol force in Virginia.  The Patrol Bureau is primarily comprised of eight district stations, the Animal Services Division, and the bureau which has the primary task of strategically changing to an urban policing mode as the county continues to change.  Lieutenant Colonel Ted Arnn will take command of Investigations and Operations Support.  The bureaus within his command provide emergency response support and major crime investigations throughout the county.

“Like all of our officers, employees, leaders, and volunteers both of these deputy chiefs exhibit traits of outstanding ethics, integrity, and leadership.  Their wide-ranging experiences will ensure the community will be engaged in robust partnerships to continue our 73-year legacy of excellence in service delivery to meet the requirements the future will challenge us with.” said Colonel Roessler.
