Pedestrian Struck by Train

Officers and detectives responded to the 11500 block of Clara Barton Road on Wednesday, February 26 for a pedestrian struck by a train. At approximately 5:35 a.m., Jack Chen, 15, of Fairfax Station, was struck by a VRE train and died. There were no other injuries.

The circumstances surrounding the death remain under investigation.

The cause and manner of the death will be determined by Office of the Medical Examiner.
