With 25 dogs and puppies, 40 cats and kittens and dozens of small pets like guinea pigs, birds and rabbits, potential adopters are sure to find the right fit for their family. The shelter does same-day adoptions and staff and volunteers will be on hand to help visitors meet and greet available pets.

Not in the market for a new family pet? No problem! There will be hot cocoa and hands-on fun with some of the shelter’s small animals. Black Fur Day is a great time to stop by to learn about all of the events and programs the shelter has to offer.
