ATTEMPTED BURGLARY/DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY/POSSESSION OF BURGLARIOUS TOOLS, 4100 block of Walney Road, 05/16/15. Aaron Powers, 32, of Herndon, was charged with attempting to burglarize a business. He was additionally charged with destruction of property and possession of burglarious tools.
FELONY ELUDING POLICE/RECKLESS DRIVING/DRIVING ON A REVOKED LICENSE/POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA/CONTRIBUTING TO THE DELINQUENCY OF A MINOR, Stone Road and Paddington Lane, 05/16/15. Prince Buduru, 19, of Centreville, was charged after a brief traffic pursuit. An officer attempted to pull him over on traffic charges; he fled from the officer. Once apprehended he was charged with possession of marijuana, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, driving on a revoked license and felony eluding police.
GRAND LARCENY/DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY, 14500 block of Swissair Place, 05/17/15. Police responded to a fight call and determined one man was in possession of property he had recently stolen. George Hernandez, 20, of Falls Church, was charged with grand larceny and destruction of property.

ASSAULT ON A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER/POSSESSION OF A FALSE ID/FELONY DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY/DRUNK IN PUBLIC, 6900 block of Old Dominion Drive, 05/16/15. Police responded to a report of an intoxicated woman in a taxi. She was taken to the hospital but an investigation determined she had an outstanding criminal warrant. Once cleared from the hospital, officers took her to jail; en route, she awoke, became belligerent and broke the police car’s rear windows. Genevieve Clark, 33, of Montgomery Village, MD, was charged with two counts of assault on a law enforcement officer, possession of false identification, destruction of property and drunk in public.
FELONY DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY/RESISTING ARREST, 8400 block of Leesburg Pike, 05/17/15. Officers conducted a nighttime business check and arrested a man for damaging several vehicles at a car dealership. David Caprio, 24, of Vienna, was charged with felony destruction and resisting arrest.

ASSAULT ON A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER/ASSAULT AND BATTERY, 3300 block of Gallows Road, 05/16/15. A man was arrested for assaulting two employees at a hospital. Byron Woods, 44, of Alexandria, was also charged with assault on a law enforcement officer when police took him into custody.

ANIMAL HOARDING, 2200 block of Southgate Square, 05/17/15. Animal Control officers received a call for a strong odor. An investigation discovered more than 30 cats and two dogs at the home. The investigation continues and the animals were relocated.
