Officers from the Operations Support Bureau, Traffic Division conducted grant funded DWI patrols throughout the county. Twenty-two traffic stops were made, resulting in the issuance of 20 traffic summonses, one arrest for possession of marijuana and one arrest of a driver wanted on a previous warrant.

GRAND LARCENY WITH APPREHENSION: Crossroads Shopping Center. 12/16/15, 10:35. Officers responded for the report of a larceny in progress. A shopper noticed four people, apparently working in concert to conceal merchandise, remove it from the store and take it to a vehicle in the parking lot. Officers located the suspects and the vehicle. The subsequent investigation revealed stolen merchandise in the vehicle, from various stores in the shopping center, totaling more than $2,500. All four suspects were arrested. Sherry Box, 31, Chantelle Bloomfield, 24 and Patricia Hill, 35, all of Prince Georges County, Maryland, were charged with grand larceny and possession of burglarious tools. Joseph Tawiar, 38, also of Prince Georges County, was charged with grand larceny.
