The vehicle occupants were held on an investigative detention and subsequently searched. Located within the interior of the vehicle was a concealed (loaded) .45 caliber semi-automatic pistol. A serial number inquiry of the handgun revealed it was reported stolen from a case in the Sully District on December 28, 2015.The driver, an adult from Dunkirk, Maryland, was charged with driving on a suspended driver’s license. The front seat passenger, an adult from Centreville, was charged with possession of a stolen firearm, concealed weapon violation and possession with the intent to distribute marijuana.
