WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION
ATTEMPTED ROBBERY AND CARJACKING: 9200 block of Old Keene Mill Road. 2/10/16, 5:43 p.m. Several victims reported that a man, later identified as Jacquin A. Ramey, 30, of Ashbridge Ct. in Burke, had assaulted them in the commuter lot. One woman reported that Ramey allegedly tried to pull her out of and take her car. None of the victims had serious injuries. Officers responded and were directed to Ramey. They took him into custody, transported him the adult detention center and charged him with attempted carjacking, attempted robbery and assault.
