GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

Detectives are still asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect in the burglary and sexual assault that occurred last Saturday in the 8400 block of Blankenship Street in the Mount Vernon area.

ROBBERY, 1300 block of Lee Jackson Memorial Highway, 02/21/16, 8:07 p.m. A man entered the gas station/convenience store and assaulted two individuals including the clerk. The suspect stole several packs of cigarettes and fled. He was described as white or Hispanic, 20 to 27 years old, wearing tan pants, blue tennis shoes, black jacket, light color baseball cap, and had a white bandana covering the bottom half of his face.
