BURGLARY, 13800 block of Braddock Springs Road, 02/26/16, 9:35 p.m. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.
ASSAULT/STRANGULATION/ABDUCTION: 2300 block of Fairview Terrace. 2/27/16, 7 a.m. Police responded for the report of an assault and abduction. An investigation determined the suspect and a 33-year old woman, who were known to each other, were arguing. The suspect allegedly assaulted the victim and would not allow her to leave. Prior to police making entry into the home, the victim was able to exit, and the man surrendered and was taken into custody without incident. Donald Santiago Reyes, 34 of Annandale was transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center and charged with strangulation, assault and abduction.
BURGLARY, 2600 block of Arlington Drive, 02/26/16, 5:51 p.m. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.
BURGLARY, 8300 block of Bockham Drive, 02/28/16, 6:50 p.m. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property
SHOOTING INTO AN OCCUPIED DWELLING: 2000 block of Cherri Drive. 2/29/16, 4:12 a.m. A resident reported that someone had apparently fired bullets into the residence and that the bullets appeared to have come from an adjacent home which should have been vacant. Officers arrived and found a 35-year-old man apparently “squatting” in the adjacent home. Further investigation and the execution of a search warrant revealed several handguns and a 6-foot Python inside the residence. Michael Stride, of no fixed address was arrested and charged with shooting into an occupied dwelling. Animal Control responded and took custody of the snake. The investigation continues.

UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 12100 Sunset Hills Rd, 11:07 p.m. The occupant of a hotel room reported that she was awoken by a noise from the window area. She saw a man’s arm attempting to reach the door handle. The suspect was startled by the victim and fled the area.
BURGLARY / DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: 6500 block of Backlick Road, 12:21 p.m. An employee reported someone entered the business and damaged property.
