BURGLARY: 1800 block of Olney Road. 3/21/16, 2:23 p.m. A resident reported that someone entered the residence and took property.

SUBJECT STOPPED/WARRANT SERVED: 3000 block of Patrick Henry Drive. 3/21/16, 9:21 a.m. A patrol officer saw a juvenile he knew was wanted for a recent robbery. He stopped the 16-year-old, verified his information and placed him under arrest. During the subsequent investigation, two more juveniles, wanted for the same robbery, were located and taken into custody. During their court appearances, a fourth suspect was identified by a sheriff’s deputy and taken into custody. The case remains under investigation.

UNLAWFUL ENTRY W/APPREHENSION: 700 block of Seneca Road. 3/21/16, 5:19 a.m. The homeowner was away from home and checking his security cameras, when he saw an unknown male trying to enter the home. Officers arrived and found 25-year-old Christopher Jones, of Reston, passed out in the basement. They also found a vehicle registered to Jones, not far from the home. The vehicle had struck a mailbox and then become stuck in a ditch. Jones was charged with unlawful entry and hit and run.

BURGLARY: 11400 block of Purple Beech Drive. 3/21/16, 5:51 p.m. A resident reported that someone entered the residence and took property.

1600 block of Reston Parkway, merchandise from business
ROBBERY: 7000 block of Manchester Boulevard. 03/21/16, 9:45 a.m. A suspect entered the Pizza Hut, displayed a handgun and demanded money. He fled with an undisclosed amount of cash and there were no injuries. The suspect was described as Hispanic, 25-28 years old and around 5 feet 8 inches tall. He was wearing dark clothing.

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION
ATTEMPTED BURGLARY: 5800 block of Banning Place. 3/21/16, 3:22 p.m. A resident reported that someone took keys from an unlocked car in front of the home and unsuccessfully attempted to gain entry into the home. The suspect was described as a white male, 30-40 years old, around 6 feet tall, with a thin build. He had short hair, blondish/gray, possibly balding. He was wearing a red shirt.
