DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY / RESISTING ARREST / PUBLIC INTOXICATION, Ladson Lane / Richmond Hwy, 03/23/16, 1:28 a.m. Police officers responded to the area for an unknown situation complaint where two individuals were fighting and a description was provided. A patrol officer observed an individual who appeared to be intoxicated and matched the description. The subject fled on foot and as officers attempted to detain him, he resisted. After placing the suspect under arrest, he then damaged a police cruiser. Micah Jemez Cosby, 34, of Maryland was charged with felony destruction of property, resisting arrest, and public intoxication. The suspect mugshot is not available at this time.
BURGLARY, 7900 block of Central Park Circle, 03/21/16. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 11200 block of South Shore Road. A resident reported unknown subjects have been inside his house while it is being remodeled. Nothing was taken.

MALICOUS WOUNDING / MISSILE AT VEHICLE, Old Keene Mill Road / Westmore Drive, 03/22/16, 6:21 p.m. Officers responded to a traffic accident involving aggressive driving. One driver was found to have purposely struck the other vehicle. The other driver had also thrown a small object at the striking vehicle. David Deza, 59, of Springfield, was charged with malicious wounding. Jose Bernal Quintana, 44, of Springfield, was charged with maliciously throw a missile at or against an occupied motor vehicle.
