WEAPONS BRANDISHING: 8400 block of Richmond Hwy, 03/27/16, 2:08 a.m. A subject at a local bar was asked to leave and became agitated. He went to his vehicle and retrieved what appeared to be a pistol. He then pointed it at another patron of the bar. The suspect left the scene and was detained shortly thereafter. A BB gun that resembled a pistol was found, along with fictitious identifications, and narcotics. Luis Alberto Bran Rodas, 31, of Falls Church, was charged with brandishing a firearm, possession of fictitious identification, and possession with the intent to distribute a schedule I/II narcotic.

ASSAULT: 8300 block of Greensboro Drive, 03/25/16, 1:27 p.m. A security guard approached a suspicious person who then threatened to cut him with a razor blade. The suspect fled on foot and was found shortly thereafter. Charles Wafo, 28, of no fixed address, was charged with assault.

ROBBERY: 7764 Gunston Plaza, 03/25/16, 2:55 p.m. A man entered the Rite Aid Pharmacy and displayed a handgun to an employee. The suspect demanded prescription drugs. An undisclosed amount of prescription drugs was handed over and the suspect fled. There were no injuries. The first suspect was described as white, approximately 40 years old, 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall, and approximately 180 pounds. A second suspect was seen inside the store and then driving an unknown vehicle when they left the scene. The second suspect was described as Hispanic or Asian, 5 feet 4 inches to 5 feet 7 inches tall, and 140 to 160 pounds.
ROBBERY: 7000 block of Commerce Street, 03/25/16, 8:24 p.m. A man entered a convenience store, displayed a handgun and demanded money. The suspect took and undisclosed amount of cash and fled. There were no injuries. The suspect was described as black, 20 to 35 years old, about 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, 150 to 170 pounds, wearing a blue or purple hooded jacket, black skinny jeans, and a black mask.
ROBBERY: 9400 block of Mooregate Court, 03/26/15, 12:02 a.m. A pizza delivery man was approached by four black males and was struck. One of the suspects brandished a handgun. The suspects took property and fled. There were no injuries. The suspects were described as 20 to 25 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall, medium build, and wearing all dark clothing.

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION
BURGLARY / STOLEN VEHICLE: 5300 block of Guinea Road, 03/27/16, 6:39 p.m. Officers were dispatched to a residential alarm. They found an open door and it was later determined that property was taken as well as the homeowner’s vehicle. An unknown female was seen near another address and is believed to be a suspect in this burglary. She was described as black, in her 30s, 5 foot 4 inches tall, 130 pounds, wearing a black shawl, dark colored shirt, and dark colored pants.
