News release: Missing Swimmer at Lake Barcroft; Later recovered from lake
POSSESSION OF FORGED BANK NOTES/FORGING AND UTTERING BANK NOTES/ARREST: Hummer Road/Little River Turnpike, 7/14/16, around 8:51 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for an observed traffic violation. The officer’s investigation determined one of the vehicle’s occupants had an outstanding warrant from another jurisdiction and she was taken into custody. Further investigation determined evidence of crime related to forgery and the vehicle’s other occupants were also arrested. All three suspects were transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center. Jerome James, 49, of Washington, D.C., was charged with possession of forged bank notes and driving with no operator’s license. Darrell Farley, 50, of Washington, D.C., was charged with two counts of possession of forged bank notes. Deandrea Thomas, 31, of Suitland, Md., was charged with possession of forged bank notes, forging bank notes, uttering bank notes and served with the outstanding warrant.

PEEPING: 6000 block of Stoddard Court, 07/14/16, 10:52 p.m. A resident looked out the window and saw a man looking into a room. The suspect fled prior to arrival. The suspect was described Hispanic, of dark complexion, 20 to 25 years old, with brown hair. He was about 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall, around 160 pounds, and wearing a black T-shirt and black shorts.
