MALICIOUS WOUNDING: 3800 Block of Miramonte Place. 12/27/16, 11:23 a.m. We initially responded to a call for one man chasing another and shooting at him with a handgun. Officers, including K9 and Fairfax 1, saturated the area. The victim was eventually located nearby. He reported that a bullet had grazed his leg. He was treated at the scene by Fairfax County Fire and Rescue personnel. The investigation led officers to believe that the suspect and victim are known to each other and that an argument led to the shooting. The investigation continues and charges are likely.

ROBBERY: 13700 block of Lee Jackson Memorial Highway. 12/27/16, 10:32 p.m. A man came into the Shell Gas station, pointed a gun at an employee and demanded money. The victim handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and was not injured. The suspect ran away. He was described as black, in in his 20s, about 5 feet 6 inches tall, with a medium build.
BURGLARY WITH APPREHENSION: 12800 block of Rose Grove Drive. 12/27/16, 1:04 a.m. We responded to a residential burglary alarm and found that someone had forced entry into the home. Officers stopped a suspicious car leaving the area and found property from inside the home, in the car. Four suspects were detained in the car and the investigation continues. Charges are pending.
