ASSAULT/TRESPASSING/ARREST: 5900 block of Richmond Highway (Great American Steak Restaurant), 3/28/17 around 5 p.m. A man was arrested after becoming disorderly and attempting to assault a 38-year-old woman. The suspect entered the business around 5 p.m. and was asked to leave due to a prior unrelated incident there. He returned about 30 minutes later. When he was asked to leave again, he became upset, grabbed a knife from the kitchen area and threatened the victim. He turned toward other customers with the knife then walked out. Officers located him nearby and took him into custody. Tyrone Taylor, 70, of Annandale, was taken to the Adult Detention Center and charged with assault and trespassing. The victim did not require medical attention.

RECKLESS DISCHARGE OF A FIREARM: Graham Road/Oakland Avenue, 3/28/17 around 8:55 p.m. Officers responded for the sound of several gunshot in the area. They did not locate any suspicious people or cars, but found shell casings in the area. No one was injured and no property appeared to be damaged.

BURGLARY: 6100 block of Roxbury Avenue, between 8 p.m. 3/26/17 and 9 a.m. 3/28/17. A bicycle was stolen from inside a garage. There were no signs of forced entry.
