STOLEN VEHICLE RECOVERY / ARREST: Harvard Drive / Cavalier Drive, 04/05/17, around 1:50 p.m. A patrol officer received a hit for a stolen car that was parked in the area. Officers waited and moments later, saw a man get into the car. They immediately approached and took the suspect into custody. Darrian Joiner, 18, of Alexandria, was charged with grand larceny of an automobile. His mug shot is not available.

ROBBERY: Barrick Street / Nutley Street, 04/05/17, 6:39 p.m. The victim was standing at the bus stop when two men grabbed her purse and displayed a knife. One of the suspects cut the purse and took cash. Both suspects fled on foot. They were described as black, 30 to 40 years old. The first suspect was over 6 feet tall, thin, with a scratch/burn on his face, and had facial hair. He was wearing a blue jacket, denim jeans, and sandals. The second suspect was described as tall, thin, and wearing a gray jacket, cargo shorts, and sandals. The victim was not injured.

MASTURBATING IN PUBLIC: 12500 block of Fair Lakes Circle, 04/05/17, 7:39 p.m. Officers responded for a report of a man masturbating inside of the store where women were nearby. Jeffrey Glen Webster, Jr., 33, of Herndon, was arrested and charged with masturbating in public.
