SHOPLIFTING/ASSAULT ON A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER/ RESISTING ARREST/DRUNK IN PUBLIC/ARREST: 8000 block of Richmond Highway (7-Eleven), 5/8/17 around 3:12 a.m. Officers responded to a report of a shoplifting and located the suspect walking away from the business with items. As officers took the suspect into custody, he assaulted them. Jason Bailey, 22, of Alexandria, was taken to the Adult Detention Center and charged with petit larceny, resisting arrest, obstruction of justice, drunk in public, and three counts of assault on a law enforcement officer. The officers did not require medical attention.

INDECENT EXPOSURE: 7300 block of Parkwood Court, 5/8/17 around 10:30 a.m. A male exposed himself to woman who was walking home. The suspect was described as black, between 17 and 19 years old, about 5 feet 6 inches tall, 130 to 160 pounds, and was wearing glasses.
