Fairfax County Health Department Employee Charged with Assault

A Fairfax County Health Department employee is facing charges after allegedly assaulting a 26-year-old woman Tuesday afternoon in the Alexandria area of Fairfax County. Health inspector Jonatan Fiseha, a 23-year-old Dumfries resident, was at the pool in the 6000 block of Edgeware Lane for an inspection when he inappropriately touched the victim’s buttocks. A warrant was issued today for assault and battery.

The Health Department has been cooperative in our investigation. Fiseha has been employed there for just over three months, and has been placed on administrative duties during the investigation.
