Barricade at the Windy Hill Condominiums Safely Resolved

Franconia Police District – A man is in custody following a barricade situation that ended around 1 a.m. this morning. Officers were initially called to the 6400 block of Cheyenne Drive at 6:47 p.m. for the report of a man acting erratically. Mental health professionals from the Merrifield Crisis Response Center (MCRC) responded and obtained an Emergency Custody Order (ECO) for the man.
