Out-of-State Organized Retail Theft Crew Arrested After 4-Month Spree


McLean Police District – Detectives from our Tysons Urban Team (TUT) arrested an out-of-state retail theft crew after a four-month stealing spree in Fairfax County.

On May 11 at 1:07 p.m., TUT detectives were alerted to a retail theft crew in the 11700 block of Fair Oaks Mall in Fair Oaks. After committing a larceny at Fair Oaks Mall, the crew traveled to the 1900 block of Chain Bridge Road in Tysons where additional larcenies were committed.

Detectives located the crew and took two suspects into custody. One suspect fled the scene. A search of the suspect’s vehicle revealed over $15,000 of stolen merchandise.

The crew is linked to multiple larcenies over a four-month timespan. The four-month spree yielded over $27,000 worth of merchandise.

Oscar William Laverde Laverde, 56, of New York was charged with four counts of Grand Larceny, four counts of Conspiracy to Commit Larceny, four counts of Larceny with Intent to Sell, and Possession of a Burglarious Tool. He is being held at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center on no bond.

Sindia Noguera, 43, of New Jersey was charged with five counts of Grand Larceny, five counts of Conspiracy to Commit Larceny, five counts of Larceny with Intent to Sell, and Possession of a Burglarious Tool. She is being held at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center on no bond.

Claudia Suarez, 45, of New York was unable to be located, but detectives have obtained warrants for Conspiracy to Commit Larceny. Additional warrants will be sought for Ms. Suarez.
