Detectives Arrest Merrifield Physical Therapist and Seek Additional Victims
Mason Police District— Detectives from Major Crimes Bureau have arrested a physical therapist after he inappropriately touched a victim in his office.
On September 8, at 12:28 pm, officers responded to a sex offense in the 8000 block of Innovation Park Drive in Merrifield. The victim reported that she was sexually assaulted by a licensed physical therapist during her therapy appointment. The victim attempted to leave but the suspect blocked her from exiting and took her phone. The victim was eventually able to leave and reported the incident. Detectives from our Major Crimes Bureau responded and assumed the investigation.
Through their investigation detectives identified the suspect as Samuel Young Choi, 34, of Chantilly. Detectives also learned the victim was sexually assaulted on a separate occasion while receiving treatment from Choi.

Choi was transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center and charged
with two counts of Aggravated Sexual Battery, Robbery, and Abduction. He was held on no bond.
