Juvenile Charged Following Reston Non-Fatal Stabbing
Reston Police District – Detectives from our Criminal Investigations Division have charged a juvenile in connection with a non-fatal stabbing.
On March 27 at approximately 2:04 p.m., officers responded to the 11100 block of South Lakes Drive in Reston for a fight involving a large group of teens. When officers arrived, they located a juvenile victim with a stab wound to the lower body. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Detectives from our Criminal Investigations Division responded to assume the investigation.
Through their investigation, detectives learned that multiple juveniles were involved in an altercation. During the incident, the suspect produced a knife and stabbed the victim in the lower body. Detectives identified the juvenile suspect, and he was taken into custody later that day.
The juvenile was charged with Malicious Wounding and is currently being held at the Fairfax County Juvenile Detention Center.
