Man Arrested for Inappropriately Touching a Child
Reston Police District – On Friday, October 11, detectives from the Fairfax County Police Department arrested Joseph E. Bunnell, 49, of Herndon. He was charged with one count of aggravated sexual battery and transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.
The arrest follows an investigation after the parents of an 8-year-old reported she was inappropriately touched by Bunnell. The event allegedly took place in the Bunnell home in the afternoon of Saturday, September 21. The victim was not injured.
