Financial Crimes Unit detectives have charged a Lorton couple with crimes surrounding their involvement with an elementary school Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). Amy King, 39, of Grayson’s Mill Lane, PTO president at Ft. Belvoir Elementary School, was charged with embezzlement on Tuesday, May 13. Sink hole on Acosta Road

Authorities have responded to a water main break and, subsequently, a sink hole in the 3800 block of Acosta Road, in the Mantua area. The road in that area is being repaired and may be closed for up to 5-8 hours. Please plan your driving route accordingly.
