Accident Policy Now in Effect in Fairfax County

UPDATE: At 1000 hours the accident policy was rescinded.

When the Accident Policy is in effect, police officers will continue to respond to personal injury crashes, hit and run crashes and to fatal crashes; but not to fender benders.

If you are involved in a minor fender-bender with no injuries, please move off of the roadway, exchange driver’s license and vehicle registration information and automobile insurance coverage. Thank you for your understanding and please drive safely!
