Officers Conduct Truck Inspections in Annandale

Today Fairfax County officers from the Motor Carrier Safety unit conducted truck inspections in the Northern Virginia Community College Campus parking lot. Everyday, hundreds of commercial motor vehicles share the roads with Fairfax County residents and it is through a coordinated effort by this unit to locate such vehicles, conduct safety inspections and identify violations in a safe manner.

The Motor Carrier Safety officers stopped a total of 11 trucks and 22 violations were observed. 10 summonses were issued and four trucks were taken out of service.
