Fatal Pedestrian Crash in Reston

Police are investigating an early-morning, fatal pedestrian crash that occurred in the Reston area. Around 6:25 a.m. officers were called to Wiehle Avenue near Chestnut Grove Square for the report of a woman struck by a vehicle. Detectives assigned to the Major Crimes Division are in the preliminary stages of the investigation into the in-custody death of Paul Guida, 68, of Falls Church.
