Read moreOfficers charged a 30-year-old, District of Columbia man, after a pursuit that began around 2:25 a.m. on Sunday, February 21. A 1996 Toyota sedan was observed with improper license plates and the driver was suspected of being under the influence. Multiple officers attempted to make a traffic stop but the driver ignored the officers’ orders to stop and fled.

Read moreAt around 3 a.m on Saturday, February 20, officers responded to a home in the 8400 block of Blankenship Street for the report of a burglary and assault. A 51-year-old woman was awakened by an unknown male intruder. The suspect threatened and sexually assaulted the victim and then fled. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
