Springfield Woman Struck and Killed by Train

Officers and detectives responded to the 9500 block of Burke Road on Monday, May 16, for the report of a pedestrian struck by a train at approximately 9:38 p.m. The preliminary investigation determined that three friends were walking along the tracks when one was struck.
