Update – Deceased’s Name and Additional Information Released in Deputy-Involved Shooting

Mason Police District – Detectives from the Major Crimes Division continue their investigation into the Deputy-Involved Shooting that occurred on Monday, August 15 shortly before 10 p.m. Late this afternoon detectives were able to locate and confirm the deceased’s next of kin.  The deceased is 29-year-old, Jovany Martinez; of no fixed address.
