Sully District Station – Detectives have tentatively identified the body found in the woods near Little Rocky Run this morning as that of missing 79-year-old Guangzhi Cheng, of Centreville.  Cheng was reported missing on Feb. 7, as he was last seen near the 13500 block of Heathrow Lane. Man Arrested for 2017 Murder of Wife

Mason Police District – A 55-year-old man is facing charges for the murder of his wife. On Jan. 6, 2017, a double shooting was reported inside a home in the 9200 block of Okla Drive, Fairfax. UPDATE: Springfield Man Charged with Second Rape; Detectives Continue Search for Additional Victims

West Springfield Police District – Detectives from our Major Crimes Bureau have charged Bernard Betts-King with an additional charge of raping a woman through the use of her mental incapacity.  An investigation uncovered the victim was raped in early 2017.
