  • Plan Ahead: Arrange transportation in advance. Use rideshare services, public transportation, or designate a sober driver if alcohol is involved.
  • Stay Aware: Keep an eye on your surroundings in crowded areas.
  • Celebrate Responsibly: Pace yourself, stay hydrated, and ensure everyone has a safe way home.
  • Don’t Drink and Drive: If you’ve been drinking, never drive. Use taxis, rideshares, or a sober friend to get home safely.
  • Secure Your Home: If you’re heading out, lock up and consider using outdoor lighting or a security system for extra protection.

To ensure a safe weekend, our officers and traffic division will be conducting increased enforcement throughout the county, focusing on impaired driving and unsafe behavior.
