Man in Custody After Homicide in Annandale

Mason Police District – A man is in custody after fatally stabbing a woman in Annandale yesterday evening.

On November 7, at 9:52 p.m., officers responded to a report of an unconscious person with trauma to the upper body in the 3900 block of Terrace Drive in Annandale. Upon arrival, officers located Isha Koroma, 26, of Alexandria at the location. She was declared deceased at the scene.

Preliminarily, detectives believe Musa Kargbo, 42, of Maryland, travelled to Annandale and fatally stabbed Koroma. This does not appear to be a random act as the suspect and victim are believed to be known to each other.

With the assistance of Prince George’s County Police, Kargbo was taken into custody this morning in Lanham, Maryland. He will be extradited to Fairfax County where he will be charged with Second Degree Murder.

Detectives continue to conduct interviews and process evidence recovered from the scene to determine the circumstances that led up to the fatal stabbing.
