Fair Oaks Police District – Officers from our Warrant Squad have arrested a 58-year-old Chantilly man in connection with an indecent exposure incident that occurred in June.

On June 1, at 10:06 a.m., officers responded to the 13000 block of Route 50 in Chantilly for a report of an indecent exposure. Two adult women reported that a man was masturbating inside his vehicle and taking photographs of them. The man left the area before officers arrived.

Through their investigation, officers reviewed photographs provided by a witness and identified the suspect as Talha Yaqub, 58, of Loudoun County. One of the victims subsequently obtained warrants for Yaqub through a magistrate. The warrants were placed on file in Fairfax County pending his arrest.

On November 3, around 4 p.m., officers assigned to the Warrant Squad received an Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR) alert for Yaqub’s vehicle traveling near the 2000 block of International Drive in Tysons. Officers responded to the area and located the vehicle. When officers located Yaqub, they observed him masturbating inside his vehicle. He was taken into custody without incident.
