Single-Vehicle Fatal Crash on Dranesville Road

Reston Police District – A 70-year-old woman died from injuries from Aug. 11 single-vehicle crash on Dranesville Road in Reston. Detectives from our Crash Reconstruction Unit determined Flavia Caero, of Herndon was traveling north on Dranesville Road near Shallow Ford Road in a 2018 Toyota Corolla. Caero lost control of her vehicle, left the roadway and struck a retaining wall.
