Update: Chief Roessler Releases Video of Fatal Pedestrian Crash Involving Police Cruiser

Franconia Police District – Fairfax County Police Department, Chief of Police, Colonel Edwin C. Roessler Jr., is releasing the police in-car video of the fatal pedestrian crash which occurred Saturday, April 2, shortly after 11 p.m. The crash investigation determined the pedestrian stepped into the roadway, not having the right-of-way and the police cruiser was unable to avoid a collision.
