Fatal Crash in the Van Dorn Area

Franconia Police District – Around 3:05 a.m. on Sunday, October 6, a driver of a 1995 Lexus ES300 was traveling northbound on Van Dorn Street, near Vine Street. As the Lexus approached a railroad bridge underpass it left the roadway and struck a concrete bridge pillar. The driver, 21-year-old Devin Austin of Triangle Virginia, died at the scene.
