Home Invasion Robbery in the Annandale Area

West Springfield Police District – Police are investigating an early morning home invasion robbery that occurred on Friday, March 14, in the Annandale area. Around 9:09 a.m. police were called to a home in the 7400 block of Madeira Place for the report of a suspicious person. Arriving officers located a man outside and learned he was the victim of a crime.

A preliminary investigation determined the 33-year-old man was sleeping when he was awoken around 7 a.m. by two men in his bedroom. The two suspects restrained the victim then searched a different bedroom in the house before fleeing. It appears the suspects forced entry through the front door. The victim did not require medical treatment. Other residents were asleep in the home but heard nothing.

The two suspects were described as Hispanic. They were each wearing masks and hooded jackets. One suspect was armed with a handgun.
