The Daily Police Blotter for August 12, 2014

SULLY DISTRICT STATION

PURSUIT, Sully Road/Lee Jackson Memorial Highway, 8/10/14, 12:45 a.m. A police officer attempted to stop a Honda Civic on Sully Road near Lee Jackson Memorial Highway. The vehicle fled and the officer pursued the suspect into Loudoun County. The driver and passenger exited the vehicle near Shaw Road and Terminal Road and attempted to flee on foot. A responding Loudoun County deputy took the driver into custody. Felix Alberto Diaz, 26, of Chantilly was charged with reckless driving, speeding to elude police and driving without a license. The passenger was described as a Hispanic male, 20s, and about 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall.

BURGLARY, 6900 block of Ridge Water Ct, 08/10/14. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

MOUNT VERNON DISTRICT STATION

BURGLARY, 1000 block of Neal Dr, 08/09/14. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

MCLEAN DISTRICT STATION

BURGLARY, 8200 block of Crestwood Heights Drive, 8/11/14. An employee reported someone entered the business and took property.

MASON DISTRICT STATION

ROBBERY, Lake St and Tyler St, 08/09/14, 1:30 a.m. The victim was walking when he was approached by an unknown male. The suspect pushed the victim to the ground and took his wallet and brief struggle ensued. The suspect produced a cutting instrument. The victim received non-life threatening injuries to a hand. The suspect fled on foot and was described as Hispanic and about 5 feet 3 inches tall.

RESTON DISTRICT STATION

ROBBERY, 2500 block of Farmcrest Drive, 8/11/14, 6:19 p.m. The victim was walking when three suspects approached her. The suspects assaulted the victim and took property from her. The suspects fled on foot but apparently assaulted and took property from a second victim on McNair Farms Drive. Both victims were transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The first suspect was described as a black male, 20-22, and about 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall. The second suspect was described as a black female, 18-20, and about 5 feet 2 inches tall. The third suspect was described as a black female, 20-22, and about 5 feet 4 inches to 5 feet 6 inches tall.
