BUI CHECKPOINT, Pohick Bay, 09/07/14. Officers from the Marine Patrol Unit conducted a Boating under the Influence Checkpoint. Thirty-one vessels were checked. Sixteen warnings and two summonses were issued. No BUI charges were made.
CHECKPOINT, Fairmont Street and Lee Jackson Memorial Highway, 09/06/14. Officers conducted a DWI checkpoint searching for drunk drivers. Eight-hundred-fourteen vehicles passed through. No drivers were charged with DWI. Sixteen summonses were issued and two criminal arrests were made.
DIRECTED PATROL, 09/06/14. Officers from the Franconia Police District patrolled the county searching for drunk drivers. One driver was charged with DWI and twenty summonses were issued.

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY, 7600 block of Richmond Highway, 09/07/14. The victim was sitting in a restaurant when he was approached 2 men. One suspect displayed a brass knuckle and demanded money. The victim did not require rescue. The suspects were described as black, 20s, and about 5 feet 9 to 5 feet 10 inches tall.

BURGLARY, 6700 block of Hackberry Street, 09/08/14. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.
