CHECKPOINT, Franconia Springfield Parkway/Spring Village Drive, 09/20/14. Officers conducted a DWI checkpoint searching for drunk drivers. Seven-hundred-ninety-nine vehicles passed through. Five drivers were charged with DWI. One summons was issued and three criminal arrests were made.
ROBBERY, 13600 block of Wildflower Ln, 09/20/14, 12:36 a.m. The victim was walking when he was approached by a man. The suspect pushed the victim and took property. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The suspect was described as black, 17 to 18 years of age, and about 5 feet 11 inches tall.

ABDUCTION/SEX OFFENSE, 3700 block of Lockheed Blvd, 09/19/14, 5:01 p.m. A woman was walking when a man approached her. The man inappropriately touched her and held her against her will. The victim did not require rescue. Nirmal Barua, 71 of Alexandria, was arrested and charged with abduction by force, assault, and forgery of public records.

ROBBERY, 7200 block of Old Keene Mill Road, 09/21/14, 4:18 a.m. A man entered a convenience store and threatened an employee. The suspect took cash and property. There were no injuries. The suspect was described as black, 20s; about 5 feet 10 to 6 feet tall with a thin build.

PEEPING, 3200 block of Arrowhead Circle, 09/21/2014, 12:30 a.m. A resident saw a man looking into the window of a residence. The suspect fled prior to police arrival. The suspect was described as Asian, 20s, and about 5 feet 7 inches tall.
