ROBBERY, 1800 block of Stratford Park Place, 10/19/14, 8 p.m. The victim was in a parking lot when she was approached by a man. The suspect displayed a handgun and demanded money. The victim did not require rescue. Cash was taken. The suspect was described as Hispanic and wearing dark clothing.

11600 block of Park Vista Boulevard, electronic device from residence.
MALTREAT ANIMAL, 8000 block of Richmond Highway, 10/09/14, An Animal Control Officer was called to a residence to check on the welfare of a dog left outside tied to a trailer. The owner, Emmanuel F. Bezzina, 44, of Alexandria, was charged with cruelty to animals.
