CHECKPOINT, Richmond Highway/Huntington Drive, 10/24/14. Officers conducted a DWI checkpoint searching for drunk drivers. 687 vehicles passed through. Three drivers were charged with DWI.
CHECKPOINT, Franconia-Sprigfield Parkway/Spring Village Drive, 10/25/14. Officers conducted a DWI checkpoint searching for drunk drivers. 711 vehicles passed through. Two drivers were charged with DWI.
BURGLARY, 4100 block of Meadowland Court, 10/24/14. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

ROBBERY, 7200 block of Harrison Lane, 10/24/14, 4:03 p.m. A man entered a cab and displayed a handgun to the driver. The suspect took cash and fled. There were no injuries. The suspect was described as black, 20s, and about 5 feet 10 inches tall.
BURGLARY, 1900 block of Glen Drive, 10/24/14. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

BURGLARY, 7000 block of Haycock Road, 10/24/14. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

1900 block of Chain Bridge Road, merchandise from business
ROBBERY, 4100 block of Wadsworth Court, 10/25/14, 10:36 p.m. The victim was walking when he encountered a group of men fighting. One of men confronted the victim, displayed a knife and took property from the victim. The men then fled on foot. The victim did not require rescue. The suspect was described as Hispanic, about 5 feet 3 inches tall with a skinny build.
