DIRECTED PATROL, 02/01/15. Officers from the Sully Police District patrolled the county for drunk drivers. Four summonses and two warnings were issued.

UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 5500 block of Malone Ridge Street, 01/31/15, 8:59 p.m. A resident reported an unknown man walked into the home through an unsecured door. The man left immediately when he saw someone in the home. Nothing was taken.
BURGLARY, 9400 block of Gunston Cove Road, 01/30/15. An employee reported someone entered the business and took property.

Ewar Ramirez Rivas
DWI/HIT & RUN CRASH, Lee Highway/Hunters Glen Way, 2/2/15, 9:49 p.m. A 35-year-old woman was driving a 1997 Toyota on Lee Highway and had stopped at a traffic light. Ewar Ramirez Rivas, 28, was driving a 2000 Ford F250 on Lee Highway and failed to stop for the traffic light. Rivas struck the Toyota in the rear and then fled the scene. The driver and three juvenile passengers were all transported to a local hospital. A 6-year-old passenger received life-threatening injuries while the others received non-life threatening injuries. Police located Rivas on White Birch Court and charged him with DWI, hit and run (felony), no operator’s license and open container.

MALTREAT ANIMAL, 6100 block of North Kings Highway, 01/29/15, 7:45 p.m. Animal Control Officers were called to check on the welfare of a dog. The owner, Henry E. Perla, 19, of Alexandria, was charged with two counts of inadequate animal care, unvaccinated dog/cat and running at large. The dogs were transported to an animal clinic and treated.
