Daily Police Blotter for March 16, 2015

CHECKPOINT, Centerville Road/Old Mill Road, 3/14/15. Officers conducted a DWI checkpoint searching for drunk drivers. Eight hundred and forty-two vehicles passed through. One driver was charged with DWI. Six summonses were issued and one criminal arrest was made.
DIRECTED PATROL, 3/15/15. Officers patrolled the county searching for drunk drivers. No drivers were charged with DWI and twenty summonses were issued.
BURGLARY, 14500 block of Lake Central Drive, 3/15/15. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property. A responding officer located a 15-year-old male juvenile and charged him with burglary. Police are investigating the possibility that this suspect may be connected to other burglaries in the area.

ASSAULT, North Shore Drive/Waterview Cluster , 3/14/15, 12:15 a.m. The victim was walking when two men approached him. Both suspects assaulted the victim. The victim resisted and both suspects fled on foot. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The suspects were described as males wearing dark clothing.
