Bank Robbery in the Kingstowne Area

Police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred Friday, March 20. Around 11 a.m. a man entered the Apple Federal Credit Union located at 6831 Sir Viceroy Drive, displayed a handgun and demanded money. The bank teller complied and the suspect fled on a bicycle with an undisclosed amount of cash. There were no injuries.

The suspect was described as black, 20s, skinny build, and wearing a black sweater.
