Fatal Crash in the Burke Area

Crash Reconstruction Unit detectives are investigating a fatal crash that occurred around 5:53 p.m. on Sunday, March 29, near the intersection of Lee Chapel Road and the Fairfax County Parkway.

An investigation determined that a 2004 Honda Accord, being operated by 19-year-old Dilbar Noory, was traveling south on Lee Chapel Road, just south of the Fairfax County Parkway. It appears Noory lost control of her vehicle and crossed into the oncoming lanes of traffic, striking a 2012 Infinity EX35. Noory’s Honda then struck a second vehicle, a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee, before coming to a stop.

Dilbar Noory, of Woodbridge, died at the scene. The driver and a passenger in the Infinity as well as the driver of the Grand Cherokee were all transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Speed appears to be a factor in the crash.
