CHECKPOINT, Lee Jackson Memorial Parkway/Annandale Road, 04/10/15. Officers conducted a DWI checkpoint for drunk drivers. Seven-hundred-twenty-four vehicles passed through. One driver was arrested for DWI and three summonses were issued.
CHECKPOINT, Fairfax County Parkway/North Walnut Branch Road, 04/11/15. Officers conducted a DWI checkpoint for drunk drivers. Five-hundred-seventy-eight vehicles passed through. No drivers were arrested for DWI and seven summonses were issued.

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY, 1900 block of Tysons Landing Court, 04/10/15, 10:30 p.m. The victim was walking and approached by a man from behind. The suspect grabbed the victim and attempted to take property. The victim resisted and was able to free herself and the suspect fled. The suspect was described as black, between 5 feet 8 inches and 6 feet tall wearing a sweatshirt and blue jeans.
